Harvey Gozado

Harvey Gozado is a director, visual artist, and multimedia storyteller from Cagayan, Philippines, whose work is grounded in cultural identity, social observation, and emotional depth. His films—including I Rarely Watch the Stars, Menagerie of Emotions, and Brainchild—have earned multiple awards for Best Short Film, Best Director, and Best Production Design in regional and institutional festivals. His most recent project, Duros, received a Special Citation for Animation at the Hundred Islands Film Festival '25, Toon City Award in Animahenasyon '25 and recently Jury Prize at Sinag Maynila 2026. A Multimedia Arts graduate with distinctions in Compositing and Sound Design, he approaches filmmaking holistically, blending personal narratives with broader cultural critique. Beyond cinema, he is an accomplished visual artist. He is also the founder of Artistang Kanal and In Bituin Pictures and has worked as a Creative Director and Production Designer for major cultural festivals in North Luzon. Currently based in Manila as an Art Director, Harvey continues to create stories that feel like home.
