Logline: As Davao rapidly urbanizes, Dong navigates the city as it turns into an urban jungle—slowly consuming him.
Synopsis: Dong searches for a job through a rapidly urbanizing Davao City. He encounters the realities of urban life, navigating through traffic, the sweltering heat of the sun, and the animals that live alongside him in the city. As concrete envelopes the city, Dong slowly loses his sense of self as he watches the city turn into an urban jungle.


Xander Delola
Xander Delola is a student filmmaker based both in Tagum and Davao City. He is currently pursuing a BA Communication and Media Arts degree at the University of the Philippines Mindanao, where he developed his love of watching films into creating his own. Xander’s work in filmmaking mostly revolves around the cinematography aspect of film. He has worked in various student shorts with his fellow student filmmakers in the university. Aside from narrative filmmaking, he also directs, writes, and shoots Audio Visual Presentations for campaigns and freelance work. Xander also does not only use the camera as a tool for filming but also for photography. Watching many films growing up, he aims to create films that reflects his life and experiences while also seeing its roots to the larger social issues that causes it
