Synopsis: Inspired by the magical bird from Philippine folklore, Ibong Adarna, "Maging Mga Ibon" is a film about a group of young protest artists called Kabataang Adarna. They have a mission to heal and stand against the abusive and corrupt leader of their town, Edgardo, through singing and performing with causes in their town's freedom park. The story will revolve around Aya, a young woman "owned" by Edgardo. The town leader adopted and took care of Aya since she was a child so he could groom her to be his "artist" singing beautiful songs and humming melodies to him. Unbeknownst to the world, Aya is a secret member and a songwriter for Kabataang Adarna. And while more atrocities are happening in their town with continuous disappearance of women and artists involved in activities against the town leader, how can Aya find the courage to let her principles win over the fear and luxury that chained her her whole life?
